There is no mountain too high: Just Climb!
– Hidayah Amin –
Eloquent, intelligent and spirited, Hidayah was educated at the University of Cambridge and was a Fulbright
Scholar at Lehigh University, USA. She was also a recipient of the Alpha Delta Kappa Foundation’s
International Teacher Education Scholarship as well as the Tan Kah Kee Postgraduate Scholarship 2006.
She interned pro-bono at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City for 6 months after her graduate
studies. She was also the first Malay Girl Guide to receive the President’s Guide Award.
Hidayah travels widely and adventurously, from the hamlets of Morocco to the Everest region. She spends her time doing community and humanitarian work and pursuing her latest goals. God willing, she hopes to set up the Gedung Kuning Foundation that will administer the Nusantara Scholarships as well as the Asia Jofrie Free Clinic.
Just like Haji Yusoff, her great-grandfather, Hidayah decided to go into business. She set up Archipelago Consultancy in March 2012 and is currently its C.E.O.
